Kenneth Alan Darling

Kenneth Alan Darling, age 69, of Gahanna, Ohio passed away too soon on Saturday, March 28, 2026.

He was born on September 24, 1956 to the late George and Ethel Darling in San Diego, California.  Kenneth is, also, preceded in death by his brother; George (Donna) Darling and sister; Carol (Gabe) Bils. He is survived by his devoted daughter; April Darling and dedicated son; Michael Darling.  

Kenneth dedicated over 25 years to Big Bear.  He was a hard worker and folks genuinely enjoy seeing him at the store until his retirement.   He loved sports and would always be cheering on the San Diego Padres and the San Diego Chargers.  Kenneth lived a life full of fun and adventure.  He loved a good shot of Jack Daniels and you would often hear the Rolling Stones playing or him saying, “Stones Rule!” There wasn’t a Stones song that he didn’t love.  In his adventurous years, you would find him at Kings Island Amusement Park in Mason, Ohio.  His favorite roller coaster was the iconic Beast and he always had to sit in the front seat with his hands up.  Let’s not forget that Kenneth was a foodie.  He absolutely loved his Big Macs and his favorite pizza place of all time was Massey’s Pizza.  Kenneth’s humor and care for his family will be missed the most.  Anyone who met Kenneth was better for it.
