Kevin Ray Perry, born January 9, 1968, died August 23, 2025 after a brief, but courageous battle with cancer. Kevin graduated from Reynoldsburg High School in 1986. Graduate of the Ohio Fire Academy and Central Ohio Technical College Paramedic Program.
KP served as a Firefighter/Paramedic with the Truro Township Fire Department, Thurston-Walnut Township Fire Department, and Jefferson Township Fire Department from 2006 until 2023. Kevin also owned “KP - The Handyman” construction services and took great pride in his abilities in the trades.
Kevin loved the Ohio State Buckeyes, was a fan of NASCAR and ice cold Busch Light. He also loved all different types of music.
KP is proceeded in death by his father Buddy Perry. He is survived by his mother, Gloria Perry and brothers Greg Perry and Tim Perry (Valerie Keller). Niece Chelsea Perry (Damien Joy), nephews Christian Perry (Kasey Van den Bosch), Hunter Perry (Sami Perry), Michael Perry, Alex Perry and Mason Perry. Aunt Brenda Lambert and cousin Lora Lee Hinkle. Friend Shelly Speakman and her grandchildren Leo and Chloe Speakman and beloved dog, Gracie.
Viewing will be held at Cotner Funeral Home, 7369 East Main Street, Reynoldsburg, Ohio Thursday, August 28 from 10am to Noon, with a prayer service at Noon. The Family would like to invite friends for an informal memorial lunch and repast of KP’s favorite (Pizza Cottage) at the Fraternal Order of Eagles at 1623 Brice Rd, Reynoldsburg, following the viewing.
