Kimberly Renee Marcus

Kimberly Renee Marcus, 48, was born in Kingsport, Tennessee on December 12, 1976 to Dean and Bea Carter.

She received her Masters in Education from East Tennessee State University. Her love for learning was profound and she knew the importance of enriching others. She was an amazing wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend. She loved nature, reading, journaling, painting, cooking, and bringing people together. To be in Kimberly’s presence was truly a gift.

Preceded in death by father-in-law Phillip Weissmann. Survived by her husband, Joshua Marcus, of 29 years; son, Brett Marcus; her bestest boy Lumi Marcus; mother and father, Bea and Dean Carter; sister and brother-in-law, Brandy and Nathan Goble; father-in-law, Johnny Willis; and best friends near to her heart, DeEtte Henderson, Mariah Rasnake, and Jan Cribbs.

The family is planning a small remembrance at a later date.
