Larry Jay Stansbury

Larry Jay Stansbury, age 81, of Reynoldsburg, passed away Wednesday, April 26, 2023. He was born in Columbia Township, Meigs Co., Ohio November 6, 1941 to his parents Asa Dale and Golden Faye Stansbury who have preceded him in death. Larry retired from the Truro Township Fire Department in 2002 following 34 years as a paramedic and firefighter. He also worked part time at Wagner Heating and Cooling, and was a member of CharismaLife Ministries. Preceded in death by his wife Margaret Lockhart Stansbury, siblings Eileen Gryctko, Clair (Bobby) Stansbury, Wanda Oxley, and Jerry Stansbury. Larry is survived by his sons Scott (Crystal) Stansbury, and Ben (Becky) Stansbury; grandchildren Lexie, Chloe, Olivia, Jaxon, Chris, Devin, Miranda, Lizzy, and Kelsey. His family will receive friends Tuesday, May 2 from 5-8 p.m. at the Cotner Funeral Home, 7369 E. Main Street, Reynoldsburg, where his service will be Wednesday at 11:00 a.m., with interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
