Leslie Anne Anderson (Pyle), 78, of Pickerington, passed peacefully surrounded by her family on August 1, 2023. Preceded in death by her devoted husband Ralph Sill Anderson Jr.; her parents Leslie and Rose (Lenoue) Pyle; sister Diane (Wally) Sowers; brother Dennis (Susan) Pyle; cousin Kenneth (Susan) Pyle; a nephew and several cousins. She was a proud mother to Stephanie (Bill) Gillette and Shannon (Ken) Carley; loving grandmother to Caitlin (Ryan) Woods, Gabrielle DiCioccio, Cameron and Clea Carley, Nicole Gillette, and great grandmother to Rylee and Lucas DiCioccio and Rosalee Woods. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Leslie was born April 5, 1945 in Spokane, Washington. She married Ralph on November 16, 1963. She was part of the most prolific and creative PTO in the history of Dunloe Elementary and later enjoyed owning an interior plantscaping business. She was an avid reader and loved gardening. She took joy in hosting family and friends at she and Andy’s backyard pool and loved a friendly game of volleyball, ping pong, yard jarts or croquet. She was an excellent seamstress and talented baker; endlessly gifted and inventive in all things artistic. In the last two years, she became a snowbird, wintering over at Moss Landing in Labelle, FL. She made many new friends and enjoyed swimming laps, biking, and walking. Her family and friends will remember her as a loyal and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, niece, and friend. A Celebration of Life will be held at The Wagnalls Memorial Library, located at 150 East Columbus Street, Lithopolis, Ohio, on September 24, 2023, from 2pm to 5pm.
