Lily Luerena Childers

Lily Luerena Childers, 15, of Whitehall, went home to be with Jesus on July 27, 2020. Lily was born in Columbus, Ohio on February 24, 2005. Lily always made everyone around her smile. She loved watching Tinkerbell, Spongebob, Dancing with the Stars, and the movie Sing. She loved being surrounded by music and color, and she was the light that brought joy to her family. Lily is preceded in death by grandparents Gary Ruckel, Brenda Childers, and Frank Childers; Uncle Kevin Childers. She is survived by loving parents Jerry R. and Melissa (Cain) Childers; sister Samantha (Alex) Childers; brother Odin Childers; grandmother Luerena Ruckel; nephew Mango; Uncle Eric (Serena) Childers; Aunt Barbara Childers; many more extended family and friends. Her family will receive friends from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM on Friday, July 31, at Cotner Funeral Home,7369 East Main Street Reynoldsburg, Ohio with her service being at 12:00 PM. Graveside Service to follow at Lithopolis Cemetery.
