Lois June Kuehn

Lois June Kuehn, age 89, went home to be with Jesus on August 24, 2023.

Preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Walt, parents Charles and Frances Kunz; sisters Edna, Ruth, Lorena; brothers Charles, Don, Calvin, Ernest; son Michael and nephews David and Richard. She is survived by sons Bruce (Loretta), Randy (Cindy), and little brother Tom; grandchildren Joni, John, Sarah, Laura; great-grandchildren Ruth, Eli, Landon; nieces Beth, Anne, Charlotte, Dianne, Susie, Linda, Sue; nephew George. Lois was blessed with many wonderful neighbors and friends over the years. She grew up in rural Galloway, OH. She attended church regularly with her family at St. James Lutheran Church in Columbus, OH and enjoyed living on a farm, wading in the creek and following her father around.

Lois and her three boys attended Faith Lutheran Church in Whitehall, OH.

Lois (like her mother) loved preparing meals, baking pies and cakes, and being a wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She served as a waitress for many years and always helped others in need. She was someone you could share your problems with. She had a passion for sports cars, swimming, sun-bathing, and was a super bargain hunter. Most of all, Lois had a sincere love for Christ Jesus, her Savior and expressed such repeatedly the last few days of her life.

A graveside service officiated by Pastor Rob Turner will be held at 10 am Saturday, September 2, 2023 at Galloway Cemetery, 6333 Alkire Road, Galloway, Ohio. Her family requests that you do not send flowers or make donations, instead that you keep a memory of her close to your heart.
