Man Maya Gurung

Man Maya Gurung, 41, of Blacklick, passed away Monday, July 15, 2024. 

Mon Maya Gurung was born on October 1, 1982, in Daghana, Bhutan, to Hasta Magar and Hari Maya Magar. She moved to Nepal at the age of 7, around 1992. At 18, she married Tul Gurung and they had three sons Tika married to Sunita, Diwash, Sachin, a daughter Monisha and a grandson named Thibhans.

Mon was known for her loving nature, she cared deeply for her brothers Nar and Birkha Bdr Magar. and looked after her mother as well. After her mother passed away at the age of 35, she took on the role of guardian for her father and bothers. In 2011, she moved to the USA where she continued to tirelessly care for her own family and her in-laws, the Talaija Family.

Her family will receive friends on Thursday, July 18, from 1-3:00 pm at Cotner Funeral Home, 7369 East Main Street, Reynoldsburg, Ohio.
