Marcia Jean Rittgers

Marcia Jean Rittgers, age 84, passed away Thursday, February 27, 2025. Marcia was born on November 20, 1940 in Iowa to the late Lester Davis Donaldson and Mary Ann (Ervin) Donaldson. Marcia graduated from Central High School in 1956. She worked for and retired from DCSC. Once retired Marcia divided her time between Florida and Ohio. Marcia loved to play cards and made many friends. Marcia was a very strong independent woman, she worked hard and was able to persevere over many challenges in her life. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister June. Marcia is survived by three nephews, her dog Corky and her “adopted daughters” Andrea Butcher and Sherry Khabiri. Her visitation will be held Wednesday, March 5, from 11:30am – 12:30pm at Cotner Funeral Home, 7369 East Main Street, Reynoldsburg. Graveside service to follow at 1pm at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, 5600 East Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio.
