Mark A. Capehart, Sr.

Mark A. Capehart, Sr., 71, of Reynoldsburg, went home to be with the Lord on June 20, 2025. He was born on March 27, 1954 to Richard and Joan Capehart. Mark served in the United States Marine Corps for 5 years, and then joined the United States Army, where he served for 15 more years. It was his honor to serve his country. He graduated from The Ohio State University. He was an ordained minister for the Nazarene Church and retired from his position as the Associate Pastor of the Northside Nazarene Church in Zanesville. He loved to watch OSU Football. He also enjoyed spending time with his family. He will truly be missed by all. Mark is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Ruth Capehart; brothers Christopher (Choi) Capehart, Doug Capehart, Dennis (Trish) Capehart, and Miles Capehart; children Mark Capehart, Jr., Brad Capehart, and Stacy Capehart; step-children Jeff (Jamie) Hatfield and Jason (Alicia) Hatfield; many grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. His family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 25, from 3-5pm at Tri-Village Christian Church, 7509 East Broad St SW, Pataskala, Ohio, with his service and military honors to begin at 5pm. Officiating Rev. Jim Miller and Rev. Paul Snoody.
