Mark was a generous, kind, and caring man who loved to share life experiences. Humble, loving and always considerate. A beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew, and friend. A mentor to many who taught through sharing. Mark was an accomplished drummer, mechanic, music aficionado, and world traveler. A collector of genuine and unique artifacts. An extremely knowledgeable enthusiast of all forms of auto racing, especially the NHRA, who only knew one speed – Full speed. His greatest joy came from trail riding his ATV with friends on the Hatfield-McCoy trail system in West Virginia. A proud member of the “Suckdogs.”
Graduate of Whitehall Yearling High School 1971 and Columbus Technical Institute 1973. He was a diligent worker and became a successful and accomplished business owner. As founder, co-owner, and vice president of Air Systems Diversified, Inc., he was highly respected in the HVAC industry.
Mark lived an exciting and full life and leaves behind a huge circle of friends and family who miss him more than we can say. We love you, Mark...Mmmkay!
Mark is preceded in death by his Father, Robert B. Stewart and Mother, Janet H. Stewart. Mark is survived by those he loved: Mojo, his beloved furry companion; Brother and Sister-in-law, David and Julie Stewart; Niece, Ashley Hupp; Sister and Brother-in-law, Laura and Gene Albrecht Sr.; Uncle, Greg (Char) Stewart; Nephews and Nieces, Daryl (Toni) Albrecht, Robert (Leslie) Albrecht, Alicia (Ed) Cox, Angie (Sue Ulry) Albrecht, David (Debbie) Albrecht; Great Nephews and Nieces, Brian (Hannah) Albrecht, Zachery Albrecht, Chloe Albrecht, Aiden Cox, Aaron Cox, Veronica Cox, Patience Albrecht, Xavian Hampton, Xander Albrecht, Leah Deason, Lauren Albrecht, Josh (Christina) Albrecht, McKenna Williams, Autumn Johnson, Brayden Deason; Partner, Laurie Khoury and children, Mallakah, Amira, Rushah and Raniah Khoury.
Please join family and friends for a Celebration of Life on Wednesday, May 4th, 2022, at Cotner Funeral Home, 7369 E Main St, Reynoldsburg, Ohio 43068. Visitation from 2-4pm with a Celebration of Life Memorial Service at 4pm. At Mark’s request, please wear jeans and a favorite t-shirt, no suits or ties. You are invited to join Mark’s family and friends at Double Edge Brewery in Lancaster, Ohio following the ceremony. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Children’s Hospital in Mark’s name. Arrangements under the care of Cotner Funeral Home.
