Marvin Allen Romine

Marvin Allen Romine, age 75, passed unexpectedly away Friday, March 17, 2023. Marvin was born August 2, 1947. Marv’s nickname was “Hogbody.” Marv loved his family, and was their hero; he was a loving husband, dad, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He loved life and spending it with great family and friends. He enjoyed fishing, boating, golfing, and of course the Buckeyes. He was the past president of the Lions Club. Preceded in death by his parents Florence and Bernie McKee, twin brother Martin Romine and wife Gail, and grandson Colin Marshall. Marvin is survived by his wife, of 48 years, Theresa “Teri” Romine; daughters and sons-in-law Chianti Romine-Marshall (Dan) and Chanda Romine-Baker (Robert); son and daughter-in-law Chea Romine (Logan Rowe); grandchildren Alexis Romine, Makenzie (Chadd) Pierce, Kaelyn, Braeden, and Brax Romine, Dakota (Erin) Romine, Alec Marshall, Kristin Baker and Eric Baker; great-grandchildren Elliott, Sunday, and Charlotte; brother Steve (Jackie) Romine. To honor Marvin’s wishes there will be no showing/funeral. In lieu of that there will be a Celebration of Life, which is just a fancy way to say there will be a party as HE requested. Family and friends are invited to join together Saturday, April 8 from 2:30-6 at Pinnacle Golf Club to get together in his honor. The family will be giving away the many hats he had and there will be plenty of toothpicks as that was his utensil of choice. The family would like to thank everyone for their love and support. He was a legend and will be missed.
