Mary A. Courtright, 88, of Columbus, passed away on Sunday, July 5, 2026. She was born on December 20, 1937 to Oren & Neva Leonard.
She worked for Macys for many years, but her main focus was her family. She was the matriarch of the family, and spent her life caring for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She also cared for the neighborhood kids throughout the years. Mary enjoyed spending time with her family, and anyone that knew her, knows she loved her BINGO!
She is preceded in death by his parents Oren & Neva Leonard; husband Lawrence “Shorty” Courtright; sons Larry Courtright, Jr. and Thomas Courtright; 2 sisters and 5 brothers; son in law Howard Pavlofsky.
Mary is survived by her children Mary Kay (Bob) Jude and Kathy Pavlofsky; brother George Leonard; grandchildren Erika (Lynn) Hayes, April (Joe) Sapp, Joyce (Gary) Gust, Victoria Hayes, Bobby (Jenna) Jude, Tommy (Bethany) Courtright, Jr., and Shelby Jude (Kyle) Day; great-grandchildren Jaden, Alijah, Adriana, Brogan, Bodi, Brennen, Cayden, Geddy, Alex, Karter, Avery, Akyli, Adonis, Jalen, Mason, Trace, Thomas, Jordan, Adalia, Delilah, Hunter, and Zoey; many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Her family would like to give a special thanks to her friends and caregivers at Tuscany Gardens in Pataskala. Your special love and care meant the world to her and our family.
Her family will receive friends on Monday, July 13, from 11am - 1pm at Cotner Funeral Home, 7369 East Main Street, Reynoldsburg, where her funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. Graveside service to follow at Franklin Hills Memorial Gardens, Canal Winchester, Ohio.
