Mary Slane Obituary

Mary Lou (Johnson) Slane, 89, passed away peacefully at home on December 13, 2020 from natural causes. Mary was born in Columbus, Ohio and graduated from Saint Mary's High School. She continued her education in 1971 to pursue a Real Estate career while raising five children. Mary was a soft-spoken woman with a determination to succeed. She became a successful Real estate broker in Reynoldsburg for over 45 years. Mary was one of the first women to be a real estate broker during that time. Mary was a member of Seton Parish in Pickerington. Mary was married almost 70 years. She is preceded in death by her husband, Frank D Slane and her son, Steve. Mary is survived by her four children; Karen (Keith) Taylor, Linda (Larry) Wilkie, Theresa (Bill) Warner, and Frank Slane II, and her four grandchildren and five great grandchildren. A Private celebration of Mary's life will be at St. Joseph Cemetery, Lockbourne. Arrangements under the care of Cotner Funeral Home.
