Michael T. Chizmar, 76, passed away on January 15, 2025. He was born in Youngstown, Ohio on December 14, 1948 to Michael Paul Chizmar and Margaret (Meenachan) Chizmar.

He was a proud graduate of Ursuline High School who embarked on a life of service and dedication after joining the Navy. He was a dedicated supporter of the Pickerington Central High School football family.  He forged lasting friendships from Ohio to Florida to Wyoming. He cherished fishing and the great outdoors, and in retirement, he found joy in spending time with his grandchildren and his great-granddaughter. Fondly known as ZEDO on the baseball, basketball, and football fields, he left a lasting legacy in every community he touched.

He is preceded in death by his father, Michael Paul Chizmar; daughter, Margaret Kathleen Chizmar; brother, Kevin Chizmar; brother in laws, Albert Pharis and Steve Easter.

Michael is survived by his 100-year old mother, known to all as Baba, his loving wife of 53 years, Kathleen (Lowry) Chizmar; children, Colleen Wesley, Michael Paul (Gloria) Chizmar, and Thomas (Sara) Chizmar; siblings, Mary Margaret Pharis, Peter Chizmar, John (Janet) Chizmar, Louise Easter, Anna Marie (Carl) Frease, Debora Chizmar, Leo (Joann) Chizmar, and Martin (Debi) Chizmar; sister in law, Mary Lou Chizmar; brothers-in-law, Richard (Dodie) Lowry and David Lowry; grandchildren, Madelynn (Donnie) Cameron, Miguel Chizmar, Wesley Chizmar, Camilo Chizmar, Blake Chizmar, Jonah Chizmar and Caleb Chizmar; great-granddaughter, Margaret Cameron; many more extended family and friends, as well as all of his beloved pets.
