Michael Lee Hill, 60, of Minford, Ohio passed away peacefully in his sleep on Wednesday, November 6, 2024. He was born on September 22, 1964 and was so happy to live to see his 60th birthday. He was graduate of Pickerington High School Class of 1983.
Michael never met a stranger and was so kind to everyone. He lived his life his way and you would often hear him belting out Frank Sinatra’s song, “My Way.” He enjoyed singing with the barber shop quartet, singing “The Stars Spangled Banner,” and was often found singing karaoke. He absolutely loved football and enjoyed cheering on The Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cleveland Browns.
He is survived by his beautiful mother, Marylou Hill; his favorite sister, Lori Hill and his fur baby, Dixie Mae.
He is preceded in death by his father, James Hill.
Michael will be missed dearly by his family and friends and we can hear him singing these special words, “I've loved, I've laughed and cried, I've had my fill, my share of losing, And now, as tears subside, I find it all so amusing, To think I did all that, And may I say, not in a shy way, Oh, no, oh, no, not me, I did it my way.” Live each day to the fullest and Michael would definitely tell you, “To live it my way!”
A service will be held at 1:00 pm Tuesday, November 12 at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, 5600 East Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio.
