Michael E. Walters

Michael E. Walters, passed away on January 13, 2024.  He was born in Newark to the late Vernon & Betty Walters.  He graduated from Ohio Solders & Sailors Orphanage in 1975 and served in the U.S. Army from 1979 to 1983.  Mike loved computers, taking pictures and being with his longtime love Karen.  He also loved to cook for his VA buddies, including BBQ. Mike was proceeded in death by his Father Veron, Mother Betty, Longtime Girlfriend Karen, Sister Susan.  His Brother Rex Walters passed in June of 2024. He leaves behind brother Vernon, Jeff, Pat and Kenney.  He leaves behind several Nieces; Evelyn, Angie, Christy, Courtney, Jacqueline, Jennifer, Danielle and Heather; along with several Nephews; Alan, Justin, Jesse, Patrick, Dylan, Carter, Jeffrey.

A celebration of life will be held December 13, 2024 at Cotner Funeral Home, 7369 East Main Street, Reynoldsburg, Ohio from 10-12:00, burial will follow at Kirkersville, Ohio Cemetery.  Immediate family will have lunch following the Cemetery.
