Our beloved mother Norma Jean Jones entered into God’s Kingdom on April 9th, 2023 after a long battle with dementia and the complications that followed.
Norma was born to Leonard and Sarah Siders on May 17th, 1945 in Grimms Landing, West Virginia. When Norma was younger, her favorite activities were making crafts, gardening, putting together flower arrangements, and leading the youth group at her church.
In 1978, Norma met Dan, a match truly made in heaven. Norma & Dan combined families to have a total of 5 children, Susan, Dan, Sandy, George, and Len. Accompanied by her grandchildren Mitzi, Danielle, Michelle, Eric, Melissa, Chris, and McKinzee. Norma was a loyal servant to God, first and foremost. She loved the church and loved sharing the love and warmth of our savior, Jesus Christ, with as many people as possible. She was a Shepherd of the youth group and an avid member of Reynoldsburg Free Will Baptist Church.
Norma joins Leonard and Sarah Siders (Dad/Mom), Dan Jones (husband), Bus, Leonard, Bob, and Don Siders (brothers), and Hattie-Bell (sister) in Heaven. She is survived by many loving family members, including her sister Bonnie Simpkins, her sons George and Leonard Tiedwell, and her Grandchildren Chris and McKinzee Tiedwell.
Her family will receive friends on Monday, April 17, from 7-9pm at Cotner Funeral Home, 7369 East Main Street, Reynoldsburg, where her funeral service will be on Tuesday, April 18, at 10am. Graveside service to follow at Glen Rest Memorial Estates.
