Norma Lee Schweikert, 86, passed away peacefully at her residence on May 23, 2025. Norma was born on June 26, 1938 in Bethesda, Ohio to the late Hort and Faye (Carpenter) Wehr. She is also preceded in death by her dear husband, Karl Schweikert, of 43 years; siblings, Vernon Wehr, Helma Stephen, Donnie Wehr, Freddie Wehr, Eva Mae Brown, Lawrence Wehr, Curtis Wehr, Jimmy Wehr and Roger Wehr.
Norma is survived by her children, Cathie (Steve) Messenger, Mark (Tina) Peters, Charles Douglas (Pete) Peters, Mark Schweikert and Carrie Lynn Schweikert; grandchildren, Tonya, Stacie, Scott, Brooklyn, Karl, Melanie, Matt and Jeanie Messenger ; great-grandchildren, Austin, Rhiley, Hannah and Brianna Destiny; great-great-grandchildren, Na’zier, Na’kari, Zendayah, Olivia and Mia; siblings, Bernice Moore, Janet Stump, Velma Neuhart, Norman Wehr and Beverly Legg.
Norma’s family will receive friends on Thursday, May 29, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Cotner Funeral Home, 7369 E. Main St. Reynoldsburg, Ohio, where her funeral service will be held on Friday, May 30, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Robin Weier officiating. Interment to follow at Glen Rest Memorial Estate.
