Patricia "Patty" Sipe Obituary

Patricia Ann O'Neal Sipe, 72, of Pickerington, Ohio, passed away peacefully on April 30, 2024, surrounded by her loved ones.

She was a beloved daughter, wife, mother, and grandmother born in Columbus, Ohio, on January 13, 1952. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jerry and Mary Ann O'Neal, sister Peggy Rutledge, and Kent Crawford. She is survived by her spouse, Steve Sipe, daughters Staci and Lori Crawford; step-daughters Kim and Lauren Sipe and daughter-in-law, Katie Scott; grandchildren, Caley, Chase, McKenna (Nenna), Breanna (Bre), Dylan, Paul Michael, Jaxson, and Lucy. Her most cherished great-grandson Bryson, and of course her beloved Murphy, as well as her lifelong best friends and partners in crime Arlene, Vicky and Nancy, and a host of friends and family who will miss her dearly.

Patty was a woman of many talents and passions. She graduated from St. Joeseph's Academy in Columbus, Ohio, and dedicated most of her career to the dental field, retiring as the best dental assistant to Dr. John Daugherty, the only one who would give an old lady a chance. Patty was also an avid bowler and enjoyed spending time at the lake with her daughters when they were young. She and Steve ran multiple food trucks together and their restaurant, The Philly Shack. They enjoyed their garage happy hours and karaoke times, especially singing "I Got You Babe", by Sonny and Cher, as well as, "It's Your Love", by Tim McGraw and Faith Hill. They also enjoyed spending their time at the Racino, where Patty could be spotted at her favorite machine, either winning or borrowing from Steve's winnings. Patty also loved her wine almost as much as she loved her dogs.

Patty brought so much joy, laughter, and warmth into our lives. Her unwavering friendship and honest personality enriched us all. Whether it was a listening ear, drunken shenanigans, or a shared joke, she made moments with her brighter. Though Patty may no longer be with us in person, her spirit will live on in our hearts forever. Let us hold onto the memories, the laughter, and the love, knowing that Patty will always be a part of us.

She will be forever cherished in our hearts and memories.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to in her memory to: The American Cancer Society.
