Paul J. Cook

Paul J. Cook, age 86, of Columbus, Ohio went to meet his Lord February 26, 2023 at St. Ann’s Hospital after losing his battle with cancer. He was born October 7, 1936 in Portsmouth, Ohio. Son of late Ernest and Clara Ockerman Cook. He was preceded in death by his wife Irma Cook and sisters Betty Cook, Ida Mae Cook and brother Ernest Cook, Jr.

Paul was a retired carpenter. He helped to build many businesses and hospitals in the Columbus area. Also, he was a member of Christian Center Church of Gahanna, Ohio where he enjoyed working the food pantry.

Surviving are two daughters Paula (Dale) Robbins of Pataskala, Ohio, Patricia (John) Miller of Crossett, Arkansas and a son Perry Randall Cook of Columbus, Ohio.

He loved watching his grandchildren grow. He just celebrated 5 generations having 7 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 10 great, great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, March 11, 2023, 10:30 at Sunset Memorial Gardens, 8580 Gallia Pike, Franklin Furnace, Ohio 45629. Pastor Chris Oiler will be officiating.

A Celebration of life will be held Saturday, March 25, 2023 at 11:00 am at Christian Center Church, 298 Rocky Fork Drive South, Gahanna, Ohio.
