Phyllis Jo Apple

Phyllis Apple was born on January 19, 1938, in Dayton, Ohio, to Henry and Hazel Goffe.

A graduate of Trotwood-Madison High School, Phyllis enjoyed her time as a Rockette on the drill team. She moved to Columbus in 1977, where she built a career as a Title Specialist working for several agencies in the area.

Following her retirement, Phyllis became an active member of the Reynoldsburg Community Church, volunteering in numerous capacities. she also enjoyed traveling with the church and the Reynoldsburg Senior Center, and staying active with her friends at Silver Sneakers. She cherished the time spent with her friends and family.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Thomas Apple; her brother, Henry Jr., her sister, Carolyn; and her brother-in-law, Bill. She was also preceded in death by her sons, Craig and Brian.

She is survived by brother, Larry and his wife, Nikki; her nieces, Angie and Kara Beth and their families; her nephews, Jeff and Brad; her daughter-in-law, Timberly; her grandchildren, Grant and Kathleen (Alex) and her great-granddaughter, Opal.

A Memorial Service for Phyllis will be held at Reynoldsburg Community Church, 1636 Graham Rd. Reynoldsburg on Saturday, May 30, 2026 at 1:00pm.
