She was a good student since her mother was a school teacher. She was involved with many social activities in her school years, including cheerleading and becoming homecoming queen. She began at Ohio University to become a home economics teacher, but she married the love of her life and started her family before she could finish. In the mid 50’s she started attending First United Presbyterian Church in Reynoldsburg, OH. She taught 1st and 2nd grade Sunday school for 25 years, was involved with women’s circle groups and was instrumental in creating the presbyterian pot luck cookbooks. Her dedication in serving the Lord throughout the years would involve: making costumes, working in Vacation Bible schools at various churches and made lots and lots of meals for many people and activities over the years! Her true passion was caring for her family and her home. After praying faithfully for 43 years, her true joy was fulfilled in seeing her husband come to know the Lord.
