Renate Elisabeth Workman

Renate Elisabeth Dopatka Workman, age 81, born July 30, 1941, passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2023. Renate was born and raised in Hanau Germany, moved to the United States and then worked for Lucent Technologies for 35 years. She is preceded in death by Robert Trippier her partner of over 20 years. She is also preceded in death by siblings Reinhold, Irmgard, Gunter, Christel and Magda. She is survived by daughter Regina (Craig) Kirkwood, son Marvin (Theresa) Workman, daughter Robin (Daren) Baughman; grandchildren Morgan, Sydney, Drake, Zachary, Derek, Rachel and Sybil; great grandchildren Grace, Samantha, Roxanne and Kirkwood; siblings Kurt, Siegfried, Horst, and Gerlinde and many nieces and nephews in the United States and Germany.  Her family will receive friends for a celebration of her life on Sunday, January 15, from 5-7pm at Cotner Funeral Home, 7369 East Main Street, Reynoldsburg, Ohio.
