Robert Bruce Butler, of Buckeye Lake, Ohio, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his cherished family on April 17, 2026. Born March 30, 1940, to parents Forest and Helen (Mack) Butler.
He is proceeded in death by his parents, son Michael Butler, daughters Lisa Maxwell, Denise Powell and Michelle Harlow. He is survived by his loving wife Myrna Butler, of 48 years. He is also survived by son James Harlow, daughter Sherri (Daryle) Allen, granddaughters Angela Brady, Sarah (John) Ballenger, Elizabeth (Dan) Day, Rachel Kronk, Sarah Eyers, Cathryn Day, and grandson Edward Powell as well as 13 great grandchildren.
Robert, honorably served 4 years in the United States Army. In his early years he enjoyed drag racing, most of all he enjoyed riding Harley Davidson Motorcycles. Enjoying the sunshine and lake while boating on his Pontoon, while enjoying Margaritas and Beer, with friends and family.
His family will receive friends at Glen Rest Memorial Estate for a graveside service including military honors, 8029 East Main Street, Reynoldsburg, Ohio on Saturday April 25th, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. Pastor John Ennis will be officiating.
