Robert Charles "Chuck" Edwards

Robert Charles “Chuck” Edwards, passed peacefully on Monday, June 3, 2024. Chuck was born on September 1, 1956 in Zanesville, Ohio.

Growing up he was an accomplished singer in many plays and was a top Eagle Scout. He graduated from New Lexington High School in 1974. He attended The Ohio State University and graduated in 1978. Chuck worked for Ohio Bell/SBC/AT&T in Zanesville, Ohio as an Outside Technician. He transferred to the Columbus area and retired as a Telecommunication Specialist in 2012.

Chuck is preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Edwards. He is survived by his wife, Mary Christina “Tina” Edwards; mother, Rita Hayes; children, Justin Edwards, Zach (Reba) Edwards, Ian (Mary) Edwards, Kaitlin Edwards, Ryan Edwards and James “Jamie” Edwards; brothers, Jay (Julie) Edwards, Tom (Tina) Edwards; many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Chuck was an avid Buckeye Fan and Parrothead to the end. Bubbles Up Chuck! As a way to honor Chuck, feel free to dress in Ohio State or Parrothead attire for his services.

The Edwards family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 11, 2024 from 5 to 7:00pm at the Cotner Funeral Home, 7369 E. Main St. Reynoldsburg, Ohio where his memorial service will be celebrated at 7:00pm with Pastor Kristin Santiago officiating. Private inurnment at a later time and date will be held in Zanesville, Ohio.
