Rocco R. Rosano, PhD.

Rocco R Rosano, PhD, ended his long struggle with cancer on October 26, 2025.

Rocco was an Army veteran with a varied and unique career within the Security sector, having once been given commendation and a letter of reprimand for the same action. A lifelong student, Rocco took an interest in military history, mathematics, and philosophy. He also enjoyed watching murder mysteries and telling everything that they get wrong on NCIS.

Rocco is survived by his wife Patricia Jo Rosano, daughter Kris Rosano, daughter Brandi and son-in- law Tim Smith and his sister Elizabeth Kirk. He is also survived by a generous handful of good friends and extended family who will miss him and his eccentric war stories.

Per his request the family will not be hosting a public funeral or memorial service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Wounded Warrior Project or any local veteran group near you.
