Ronald E. Gaskins, Sr.

Ronald E. Gaskins, Sr. 84, passed away on March 1, 2021. Ron was born on January 19, 1937 in Cincinnati, OH to the late Eugene and Helen (Woefle) Gaskins. He was also preceded in death by his sons, Ronald E., Michael W. and Kenneth R. Gaskins; brother, Jerry Gaskins and sister, Joyce Barkley.

Ron is survived by his children, Terry (Michael) Stricklan, Jolene (Brian) Balkus, Gilbert (Kristina) Boothe, Amber Boothe and Curtis Boothe; grandchildren, Cristal (Mark) Kelley, Tiffany, Matthew, Abby and Tony Balkus, Nicole, Gilbert III, Daniel, Joey, Christian, DJ, Alyssa, Avery, Desiree, Olivia and Elizabeth Boothe; great-grandson, Kane Stewart; brother, Robert Gaskins; sister, Roiann Ward. Uncle, great-uncle and cousin to many.

Ron’s family will receive friends on Friday, March 5, 2021 from 12:30 to 1:30pm at the Cotner Funeral Home, 7369 E. Main St. Reynoldsburg, OH, where his funeral service will be celebrated at 1:30pm with Pastor David Jansen officiating. Interment Glen Rest Memorial Estates.
