Roy Eugene Kean

Roy Eugene Kean, age 86, went to be with his Lord on Thursday, July 21, 2022 in Lakeland, Florida.  Gene was a kind and compassionate man with a great sense of humor. He loved working on many projects, traveling, and spending time with his wife. He was a retired asbestos worker with Local 44. He is preceded in death by his parents Roy and Mary Kean, sister Margaret Louise, step-grandson Jason Bowman. He is survived by his wife Carol; children Linda Fallis (Jeff), Cathy Dewey (Roger), Jeff Kean (Dixie), Ronnie Kean (Tuesday), Jene Grubb (Paul); sisters Lenorah Vonville and Frances Brofford; step children Tammy Bowman (Mike), Bill Williams (Kurt), Linda Weller (Steve); Grandchildren Shawna Linton, Meggan Dewey, Roger Dewey Jr., Christopher Neace, Christal Kean, Christina Kean, Michael Remley, Samantha Remley, Tanner Grubb, Mikayla Grubb, Jennifer Bowman, Jeremy Bowman, Kenzie Kyer; 24 great-grandchildren. His family will receive friends Wednesday at the Reynoldsburg Church of the Nazarene, 1340 Crest Street, Reynoldsburg, from 12-2 with his service to follow at 2:00 p.m.  Interment, with military honors Glen Rest Memorial Estate.
