Sandra K (Plummer) Walden

Sandra Kay Walden (Plummer), age 76, went “home” on February 13th. Sandy was a faithful follower of Jesus Christ. She was a long time member of New Life Church in Gahanna. She was a Southend girl and a 1962 graduate of Columbus South High School. She is survived by her husband of 37 years Allen Scott Walden; children Dave Pence II (Jen), Darren Pence (Becky), and Dawn Pence (Curt); grandchildren David III, Christie, Austin, Tyler, Michaela, Curtis, Katlynn, Kenedy, and Kaydin; numerous great grandchildren, including Riley, Ethan, and Evelyn. Brother In-Law Don Pinkston; niece Kelli Pinkston West (John) and nephew Donald Pinkston (Teresa); former spouse Dave Pence; special friends Marilyn, Vonnie, Olive, and Nancy.  Also big thanks to caregivers Jodi, Paula, and Starla. Preceded in death by parents Charles and Dorothy Plummer, sister Linda Pinkston (Plummer), brother Chuck Plummer, and grandson Jacob Pence.

Her family will receive friends on Saturday, February 20, from 1-3pm at Cotner Funeral Home, 7369 East Main Street, Reynoldsburg, where her service will follow at 3pm. Pastor Steve Benninger presiding. Per Sandy’s request there will be no graveside service.
