Sandra (Susie Henry) Emert

Sandra Emert, lovingly known as Susie, age 83, passed away on September 3, 2025, in Pataskala, Ohio.

She is survived by her children, Michael Emert, Debra Emert and Mark Emert (Tina Adkins); her granddaughter, Carla Swickard (Gary Swickard); great-grandchildren, Joshua St. Clair, Kamron Swickard and Makenzie Swickard; along with numerous great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins who will continue to cherish her memory.

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, Elza and Edith Henry; her beloved spouse, Thomas Emert and multiple siblings.

She worked many years in the food industry at the Columbus Airport before retiring from the Bakery at Meijer grocery store. She loved playing Bingo and was well known for her famous chicken and noodles, a staple at family reunions that will never be forgotten.

Sandra will be remembered for her warmth, her love of family, and the traditions she leaves behind.

Sandra's family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 10, 2025 from 10:00am to 12 Noon at the Cotner Funeral Home, 7369 E. Main St. Reynoldsburg, OH where her funeral service will be held at 12 Noon with Pastor Dion Frasier officiating. Interment to follow Jefferson Township Cemetery.
