Shawn Parker

Shawn Parker, 56, passed away on November 5, 2024, at his home. Shawn was born on January 17, 1968, in Columbus, OH. He graduated in 1986 from Pickerington High School. Right after high school, Shawn joined the Army. After returning home, he worked at his mother’s pizza place. Shawn’s father was the founder of Pa Pa Joe’s Pizza on Lockbourne Road (South End Columbus) and Pa Pa’s Joes Draft House on Campus. When Shawn left the family business, he flipped houses, bought items from auction sites to resell, and delivered for Massey’s Pizza and Jimmy John’s in Reynoldsburg, Ohio.

Shawn is preceded in death by his father, Gerald (Jerry) Parker; his mother, Charlette (Chuckie) Parker; and his brother, Parrish Parker.

He is survived by his sister, Tiffany Machlitt; his nephew, Sterling; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

The family has chosen to forgo a traditional funeral service. While they hope to arrange a Celebration of Life at a later date, plans are not yet finalized, and they appreciate your understanding and support during this time.

Arrangements are under the care of Cotner Funeral Home and Crematory in Reynoldsburg, Ohio.
