Shirley Patricia Prebel

Shirley Patricia Prebel, 86, was born in Cleveland Ohio on December 20,1934. She passed away peacefully at her home on September 22, 2021. She attended Collinwood High School in Cleveland and graduated in 1953. Shirley was a flight attendant for United Airlines and lived in Redondo Beach, CA until moving to Reynoldsburg in the 1990's. She was very artistic and creative and enjoyed her time traveling across the world. As a flight attendant, Shirley was able to travel the world, including: China, Australia, Japan, Alaska, and numerous places we have pictures of. Shirley also followed politics and would always offer her opinion on world events over the years.

Shirley was an amazing sister, daughter, and aunt that always put others first as far as their well being. She was never selfish and would help out anyone in need. As an aunt, she loved her nieces and nephews (and great nieces and nephews) as her own.

She is preceded in death by her parents Roy A. and Ernestine Prebel; sister Carolyn Oldham; and uncle John Mortier.  Shirley is survived by her nephew Todd Burns; niece Tiffany Callahan; Great Nephews, Layne Burns, Taylor Moore, Andrew Moore, William Callahan; and great-niece Katelyn Burns.

Shirley’s family will receive friends 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at Cotner Funeral Home 7369 E. Main St. Reynoldsburg where her funeral will follow at 1 p.m. Burial at Glen Rest Memorial Estates.
