Sri. S. Parthasarathy

Sri. S. Parthasarathy, reached the lotus feet of Perumal on September 7, 2023.

He was an epitome of graceful presence and pious softness. He lived a life of dignified grace and full Bhakti to Perumal and Raghavendra Swamy. He enjoyed hosting and participating in many Satsang’s as was humanly possible over the last two decades across Norman Ok, Dallas Texas and Columbus Ohio.

He is the son of Sri. K. Srinivasa Iyengar and Rajalakshmi Srinivasan and the 5th of 8 siblings. He grew up along with his loving sisters and brothers in Devakottai/ Karaikudi area during his formative years. He was a Charted Accountant and he worked in different parts of India, Middle East before settling down in Chennai. He married Dr. Jayanthi Parthasarathy in 1974 and together they setup their Chartered Accountant and dental practices. He supported his wife to establish a very reputed practice and assisted her in leading the orthodontics group Malar hospital (Now Fortis hospitals Adyar). Later in his life he moved to the US in 2006 and supported his wife Dr Jayanthi start a new career path. He was a proud father to his precious daughters Arthi, Preethi, and his son-in-law Srikanth. He was a lovable grandfather to his grand-daughters Vindhya, Prakruti and beloved uncle to nieces and nephews.

He was always sensitive and deeply connected person. He was so agile and flexible in his ways to adapt and exert a calming influence through his interactions with near and dear ones and with everyone he met. He was huge fan of Oklahoma State Sooners team and an ardent cricket fan.

Mr. Parthasarathy was always a people’s person hosting and befriending people from all walks of life. He was a generous person and extremely sensitive to each and every individual’s specific need with an eye for attention to detail.

His physical departing from this world is an irreparable loss to all people he touched in his life through actions, words and blessings.  He chose his time to attain the Lotus thiruvedi of perumal on Janmashtami day knowing full well that whatever his family needs will be taken care by the people who have been blessed by his immense goodness and kainkaryams all life.

How can such a noble person’s life ever be constructed in words and ideas that which only experiences can provide.

His life was such that - we all feel he will live forever with us and guide us toward right and noble pursuits in our lives. 

A service will be held in his honor on Sunday, September 10, 2023 at 11:00 am at Cotner Funeral Home, 7369 East Main Street, Reynoldsburg, Ohio 43068.
