Steven Lawrence Yarosz

Steven Lawrence Yarosz, 74, of Columbus, passed away on Monday, February 19, 2024. He was born on November 17, 1949 in Steubenville, Ohio to Carl and Dorothy (Romanda)Yarosz. He grew up in Toronto, Ohio with his five siblings, before later coming to Columbus. Steven worked at the Main Post Office in Downtown Columbus for many years where he made lifelong friendships. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking, and bowling. More than anything he loved watching OSU Football, and the valuable time he had with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, mother of his children, JoAnn M. Yarosz, and sister Judy. Steven will be truly missed by his wife Marjorie L. (Ross) Yarosz; children Jason S. Yarosz (Shannon Hogan), Lawrence C. (Melissa) Yarosz, Heather L. (Chris) Petty, and David J. Yarosz; four step-children; sister Martha; brothers Gary (Vickie), Carl (Robin), and Ronnie (Veronica); many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. His family will receive friends on Monday, February 26, from 11am-1pm at Cotner Funeral Home, 7369 East Main Street, Reynoldsburg, with his funeral service to begin at 1pm. Graveside service to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Columbus, Ohio.
