Terry Lee Shreffler

Terry Lee Shreffler,79, passed away at home with family nearby and was reunited with his loved ones in heaven on June 24, 2025. He was born on February 19, 1946 in Columbus, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his parents; Wendell Floyd Shreffler and Virgie Lee (Shipley) Hill; stepfather, Homer Hill; and son, Justin Shreffler.

Terry is survived by his loving wife, Janet (Ford) Shreffler; son, Travis (Anne) Shreffler; daughter-in-law, Alison Shreffler; grandchildren, Jude, Quinn, Chloe, Lucy, Toby, and Luke Shreffler; sister, Debbie (Steve) Odum; and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Terry served in the US Air Force for 4 years as a Radar Maintenance Technician. He was retired from Ohio Bell (SBC) with 32 years of service. Terry was a member of Reynoldsburg Community

Church for 43 years and was employed part time there in his retirement. He also participated many years with the Senior High work camp through his church. He was an active member of the Mail Pouch Barnstormers, and was involved with the leadership in the Boy Scouts of America. He always enjoyed travel throughout the United States with his family.

Terry's family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 1, 2025 from 2 to 4:00pm at the Reynoldsburg Community Church, 1636 Graham Rd. Reynoldsburg, OH where his funeral service will be held at 4:00pm with Pastor Bill Weaver officiating. Private interment service on Wednesday, July 2, 2025 at Union Cemetery, Columbus, OH.
