Obituary
Thomas Marvin Derr, 67, passed away Sunday, June 5th, 2022 at The Laurels of Heath, Heath, Ohio. Thomas was born October 1, 1954 in Columbus, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by his father, Marvin Edgar Derr, mother, Dorothy Ellen Shaeffer Derr, sister, Phyllis Wrae Derr Peters and niece, Holly Ellen Peters. He is survived by his nephew, Steve Peters, nieces, Crystal Kirk and Vivian Henderson, 8 great nieces and nephews and 7 great great nieces and nephews.
Thomas graduated from Eastmoor High School and was an avid Ohio State Buckeye fan. He was a veteran of the United States Army and took great pride in serving his country.
Thomas retired in 2010 from Defense Supply Center, Columbus, Ohio after 37 years of service.
Thomas' family will receive friends 1-2 p.m. Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at Cotner Funeral Home 7369 E. Main St. Reynoldsburg where his Celebration of Life Service will follow at 2 p.m. Inurnment at Glen Rest Memorial Estate, Reynoldsburg.
