Timothy Bruce Cassady (“Sweet T”)

Timothy Bruce Cassady, lovingly known as “Sweet T,” passed away on March 21, 2026, in Columbus, Ohio, at the age of 59. He was born on February 6, 1967, in Columbus, Ohio, to Theodore B. Cassady and Virginia (Laureto) Cassady.

Tim was a man known for his warmth, humor, and generous spirit. Friendly and always willing to lend a hand, he brought laughter and light to those around him. He especially cherished time spent singing karaoke, where he built lasting friendships and became a beloved member of his karaoke family. Tim also enjoyed trips to the casino and the freedom of riding his motorcycle.

He is survived by his father, Theodore Cassady; his sister, Judy Cassady; his brother, Theodore B. Cassady II (Diane); his sons, Kyle (Liana Norman), William (Kyleigh McMullen), and Jacob (Lauren Knotts); his former wife and dear friend, Debra (Anderson) Cassady; as well as three nieces and several great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Virginia (Laureto) Cassady.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 28, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Cotner Funeral Home. A private family service will take place at a later date.

A Celebration of Life honoring Tim will be announced in the coming days.

Tim will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew and loved him.
