Timothy "Tim" James Hines

Born Timothy James Hines in Sharon, Pennsylvania, Tim passed peacefully to the hands of our Lord at the young age of 61 years old. He was diagnosed with esophageal cancer in November 2011 and remained cancer free until March 2018 when he was then diagnosed with metastatic bone cancer. He fought a long, valiant fight with this most painful disease. He now rests in peace with our Lord.

Tim retired from Big Bear Stores in November of 2004 as a Maintenance Supervisor in the Warehouse. He graduated from Licking Heights High School; enjoyed fishing, boating, camping, the Cleveland Browns and Indians but most of all, spending time with his family and worshiping his God. Tim was a Catholic for most of his life and was baptized by his son, Eric, near the end of his life. 

He is preceded in death by grandparents on both sides; Mother, Ann Marie; Father Thomas; Brother John and sister Kyra. Tim is survived by Wife Susan; Sons Eric (Stephanie) and Austin (Heather); Grandchildren Breanna, Emma, Drew, Ella and Aubrey; Brother Nick of Reynoldsburg and Lynn Kenyon of Jacksonville Florida.;  Aunts, Uncles, Nieces Nephews and cousins.

Visiting hours will be on Tuesday November 24, 2020 from 4:00 pm -6:00 pm followed by a short funeral service at Cotner Funeral home 7369 East Main Street Reynoldsburg, Ohio 43068.
