Travis Alexander DeVictor of Etna, Ohio, left this world far too soon on June 9th, 2025, at the age of 37. Born on July 18th, 1987, Travis was a beloved son, brother, uncle, grandson, and friend whose vibrant spirit and boundless curiosity left an impression on all who knew him.
He was the cherished son of Tracy L. Corrigan and the late Henry R. DeVictor, and the loving stepson of Scott Corrigan. He is deeply mourned by his devoted sister, Alexandra DeVictor and step-siblings Amanda Corrigan, and Christopher Corrigan. Travis will also be fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews—Adriana and Aria Pollock, Colton Taylor, Ryleigh and Ava Corrigan, and Joe and Monica Seymour—each of whom brought him immense joy and love. He is survived by his dear grandmother, Beverly Plants, and countless aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will forever carry his memory in their hearts. Travis is also survived by his stepmother and stepsister, Cheryl & Carissa Martin.
Travis was preceded in death by his father, Henry DeVictor; his grandparents, Virgil “Levi” Plants and Joyce DeVictor—each of whom he loved deeply and is now reunited with in peace.
A creative soul, Travis was an artist in every sense. Whether through music, sketching out wild inventions—both practical and delightfully impractical—or repairing a car in the driveway, he had a gift for bringing ideas to life. He was a passionate swimmer, a dedicated athlete in baseball and wrestling, and a proud participant in the Civil Air Patrol. A certified marksman with a deep respect for firearms, Travis completed gun safety training and was known for his precision and knowledge.
He had an unshakable love for children and animals, always quick with a smile, a story, or a helping hand. His heart was as wide as the skies he slept under during countless camping trips, a passion born in infancy and carried with him throughout his life. Nature was his peace, his playground, and his teacher.
Travis lived with intensity, creativity, and kindness. He walked his own path with a spirit full of adventure and a heart full of love. His absence leaves a space that cannot be filled, but his memory will continue to light the lives of those who were blessed to know him.
May he rest in eternal peace, surrounded by the beauty of the great outdoors he so cherished.
