Vadney “Vicky” Victoria Craig, born 2/7/1947 in Vansant, Virginia. She passed away at Grand Strand Hospital in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

Vadney was the mother of 3 children: Gerald Wood, Gerlinda Patton, and Shane Bowers. She had 11 grandchildren: Harley Wood, Alyssa Wood, Annie Patton, Gracie Bowers, Shane Bowers, KisaLynn Bowers, Maxton Bowers, Shawn Bowers, Noah Bowers, Andrew Richie, and multiple great-grandchildren.

Vadney retired after 30 years as a Customer Account Specialist for Maritime for the Defense Logistics Agency at DSCC in Columbus, Ohio. She attended Highland High School in Sparta, Ohio, and studied at Mount Wachusett Community College.

Vadney had a loving soul and a kind, generous heart, she donated monetary amounts monthly to our veterans. She loved animals, nature, Nascar, music, and traveling. Her last year was spent relaxing on the beach in South Carolina.

Vadney closed the door to life on earth and opened the door to her future. We say to her in love, take a deep breath, and start a new chapter in life. You will be greatly missed by all.

A private graveside service for Vadney will be held at Glen Rest Memorial Estates.
