Vernon Edward Feen, Jr., age 90, of Grove City passed away November 23rd.
He was born July 9, 1933, to Vernon and Bartha Feen in Columbus, Ohio.

class. A stellar baseball player and pitcher in high school and in college, he received
his undergraduate degree from Otterbein University. He later earned a master’s

Schools and missed only two days of school in thirty years. He earned the school
system’s very first Good Apple Award and he was one of the first Home School

member of the Big Brothers Organization, maintaining a more than 60-year
relationship with “little brothers” Roger (Nancy) and Steve (Chris) Fones.
Vernon had a host of other jobs after retiring, including being selected as program
staff through Merrill publishing company. A voracious reader and writer, Vernon
published more than 300 editorials in The Columbus Dispatch and other periodicals.

Feen, sister-in-law Joyce Iava, brothers Robert and Wayne (JoAnn) Feen, and sister
