Victor Joseph Lombardo, 55, of Reynoldsburg, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at his home surrounded by loving family members.
Victor was born on October 20, 1966, to his beloved parents, Vincent & Sally Lombardo, the two most important people in his life. He was the youngest of six children, or as many called them, “the six V’s” of the Lombardo family. As the youngest sibling, known by many as “Vic” or “Veej,” he was the most special baby brother and stayed young at heart throughout his life. He was a graduate of Bishop Hartley High School where he played basketball, and he attended the Ohio State University. Victor had a successful career in information technology, and was most recently employed by OSU, working in Application Development for many years. He was a lifelong member of St. Pius X Catholic Church, and his faith was a great comfort to him. Like his father, he had a deep devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. He loved all sports, especially hoops and Notre Dame football, and he loved to watch classic movies with his Mom. Victor was an incredible friend with the sharpest sense of humor. Not only was he a devoted son and brother, but he was the best Uncle Victor to 22 nieces and nephews, all of whom he made laugh, smile, and feel loved and supported. Over time, he continued to share that love and support with their spouses and children as well.
Preceded in death by his father, Vincent, and his brother, Vaughn. Victor is survived by his mother, Sally; siblings Vincent (Cynthia), Victoria Stover, Valerie Conway (John), Margaret, Van (Maria); Aunt Francesca Alves, and many nieces and nephews.
