Wanda Mae Tackett

Wanda Mae Tackett, 85, of Pataskala, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 7, 2024. She was born on November 24, 1938 in Lore City, Ohio to the late Charles and Ada (Starr) Dennis. She graduated from Old Washington High School. Wanda held many jobs such as Longhorn Steakhouse, Mount Carmel East, and multiple flea markets. She was a member of multiple senior citizens and the Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, playing cards, the senior center trips, watching the Reds, watching Ohio State sports, and going to see her great-grandchildren play sports.

She is preceded in death by her husband Harold Tackett; son JR Arthurs; her parents; and sister Shirley Dennis. Wanda is survived by daughter Nancy Nicodemus; daughter in law Viva Arthurs; grandchildren Sean, Kristin, Matthew, Erick, and Kaitlin; 11 great-grandchildren; sister Shelba; brother Howard; many more extended family and friends.

Her family will receive friends on Thursday, September 12, from 5-7pm at Cotner Funeral Home, 7369 East Main Street, Reynoldsburg, with her memorial service to follow at 7pm. Donations in her memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 6704, Hagertown, MD 21741.
