Wanda Stewart Wells, 59, of Reynoldsburg, Ohio, passed away on October 30, 2020, following a battle with ALS.
Wanda was born in Ripley, West Virgina but was raised in Reynoldsburg, Ohio where she graduated from Reynoldsburg High School. After graduation, Wanda worked for the State of Ohio for 20 plus years. Wanda spent most of her time being dedicated to her family. She loved going to all ther kids sporting events and taking them on adventures. Over the years, she enjoyed thrifting, working puzzles, and doing numerous creative projects. Wanda was so loved by all. Since her ALS diagnosis, she showed such unbelievable courage and strength, always being positive.
Wanda was preceded in death by her mother and best friend, Ann Stewart and her father, Gordon K. Stewart. Wanda is survived by her daughter, Katie Wells; her brothers, Jeff and Keith Stewart; her sister, Jenni Gilliland; her brother-in-law, Russ Gilliland; her nephews, Ashton, Cannon, Gaven, Gordie and Alek; her niece, Olivia; her extended siblings, Karyn Johnson, Mark Stewart, Mike Stewart, Scott Stewart and Dave Stewart.
At Wanda’s request, no services will be held. A private Celebration of Life service will be held in the coming days.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the ALS Association-Central and Southern Ohio Chapter, 1170 Old Henderson Rd. Suite #221, Columbus, OH 43220 in Wanda’s honor.
