William Henry Epley

William Henry Epley, born January 29, 1942, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 26, 2025.

He was a longtime employee of the US Postal Service, having over 40 years in by the time he retired. There he met the love of his life, Shirley. It was love at first sight and they recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary together.

He enjoyed golf and bowling and was a member of multiple teams over the years. He was an avid collector of stamps and coins.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Shirley, his brother, Robert “Bob” Epley, his children, Johanna, Scott, and Sherry, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren..

His family will receive friends Tuesday, September 2, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. with his funeral service beginning at 12:00 p.m. at the Cotner Funeral Home, 7369 E. Main Street, Reynoldsburg, Ohio 43068. A graveside service will follow at Asbury Cemetery, 4737 Winchester Pike, Columbus, OH 43232
