William “Bill” D. Deady passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2024, in Reynoldsburg, Ohio. He was 66 years old at the time of his passing.
Bill was born on July 29, 1958, in Waterbury, Connecticut, to the late John Deady and Joann Stohr. He graduated from Columbus East High School in Indiana and then attended Purdue University, where he graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in 1981. He worked for Wasserstrom as a Senior Software Analyst for 37 years.
Bill loved to watch sports, especially Purdue football and Blue Jackets hockey. He had a love for music that spanned several decades and genres. He enjoyed music from the ’60s, ’70s, and ’80s but held a special love for Irish music. He was enjoyed helping set up the dance stage at the Dublin Irish Festival and loved attending it just as much. He had a passion for telling dad jokes, puns, and gardening, but nothing compared to reading to and spending time with his grandkids. He could also be found enjoying a glass of Guinness, Jameson, or any good Irish Whiskey. He brought a presence of joy and laughter wherever he was.
He is preceded in death by his father, John Deady, his mother, Joann Stohr, and his stepmother, Elizabeth Deady. He is survived by his beloved wife of 43 years, Janice Deady, his daughters, Michelle Deady and Angela (James) Smith, his brother, James Deady, his sister, Patricia (Victor) Vinarski, his sisters-in-law, Linda (Ron) Buchanan and Sandra (Brian) Sharp, his mother-in-law, Doris Ebbeler, his grand-children, McKayla, Nathaniel and Roisin Smith, his nieces, Joann and Jennifer Vinarski, his nephews, Keith Buchanan and Carl Sharp, and many other extended family members and friends.
He will be truly missed and his memories will last forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
