William “Bill” Edward Purcell, 80, passed away on Friday. February 21, 2025. He was born on December 8, 1944 to George and Marjorie (Bocook) Purcell. Bill proudly served in the U.S. Army. He worked for many years for Typographic Printing, who later became Amerigraph. He loved to travel to Las Vegas and spend time at the Reynoldsburg Senior Center. More than anything, Bill loved spending time with his family. He was dearly loved by his wife, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister Judy Wilson. Bill is survived by wife of 25 years, Beverly Purcell; children Todd (Heather) Purcell, Michael (MaryBeth) Purcell, and Andi (Matt) Trempe; step-children Timothy Gary and Maria Grace; 18 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; many more extended family and friends. His family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 26, from 3-4pm at Cotner Funeral Home, 7369 East Main Street, Reynoldsburg, with his memorial service and military honors to begin at 4pm.
